Outfit of the day. Black, black or black.

Soo... we've been having some crazy weather over here: snow, hail, crazy windiness, rainbows... But mostly just lots and lots of rain. It kinda bums me out. But then I bought this snazzy rain coat and boots from Target! Mucchh better. I bought them out of urgency (I had no rain coat and my only pair of boots were MEGA falling apart). And naturally, while I was at Target I bought so much more than I had planned. But I do love everything that I bought, and seriously, much worth. I bought a really cute ceramic bowl, plastic dinosaur and elephant for future DIY endeavours, a new bathing suit and much much more. Man, it was a good shopping trip.

P.S. Me and boyfriend just got a buunncchhh of new furniture! Our living room is looking much, much fancier :) Yay progress!

Prints I want!

Hello everyone! As I keep on mentioning, I really want a a gallery wall! I haven't really decided on what kinds of pictures I want to use. At first I was thinking of a mix of art, quotes, my own photos, my own art, etc. But then I was thinking of a black and white gallery wall, like this! But what about a quote-only wall? I'm still not too sure what I want and as I'm gathering the things I have now, I'm not happy with it. So, I spent some time on Etsy looking up beautiful pics, and here are some of my favourites!

Sick tea!

Hey allll! So I've been feeling a little under the weather lately, and there's one thing that always make me feel better. And that's tea! I've been making tea like this for awhile now and it's super good!

Tea for when you're feeling sick
  • 2 cups of hot water
  • 1 tea bag (I used good ol' celestial seasoning)
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp of honey
  • optional: cinnamon, ginger*, coconut oil (for adding yum and health benefits)

Cut the lemon in half, juice one half and add to large mug, cut the other half in slices and add to mug.

Add hot water and tea bag

Stir in honey

If you were adding cinnamon and/or coconut oil, now is a good time to do that :) And voilĂ ! Delicious tea! Tastes like candy :D

*If you're adding ginger, chop it up and mash it at the bottom of the mug, then continue with the recipe.

I hope everyone's having a great weekend!
